The Settlement is a place where opportunities are created through social connections, community led programs, access to housing and an open door for everyone.

The Settlement has been supporting the community in Darlington, Redfern, Waterloo and surrounds for 130 years. We work to address the experiences of social disadvantage and inequality that families in our community face by focusing on positive development and social learning, providing access and inclusion to opportunities and experiences, and promoting community empowerment, leadership, and cohesion.

At the Settlement, we have community, we have kinship, connection and provide a safe place during hard times. At the heart of The Settlement we value and celebrate the diversity of every child, young person, family and community member.
