Culture and diversity are celebrated and intertwined into all of our programs at The Settlement. Our team work to ensure our programs are inclusive and respectful to all cultures, and to acknowledge and honour the historic connection that our programs have with the local Aboriginal Community.

We create connections through events and programs and by providing our space and resources to the community.

Our Programs
Community Events
The Settlement provides opportunity for connection and celebration within our community through events held throughout the year, including our annual NAIDOC and Family & Community Christmas Party events!
Community Food & Essentials Support Program
To address the ongoing issue of food insecurity and the impacts of Covid, we provide our community with access to food and essentials, facilitated through both home-delivered food hampers and access to our Food Bank. This program is open and accessible to anyone in the community and is completely free.
Resources and Access Program
We provide support to our wider community through access to our facilities including phones, internet and computers, as well as an open-door for anyone to drop-in for information, referrals, support or just to have a cup of tea and a yarn.
